Sweet Treats
For the cooking enthusiasts...what kid doesn't like cooking??? Thought I'd made some little aprons for the kidlets so that I didn't have so much washing to do after we bake a cake! This was my first test-run. I think Madison will love it. Now to make a dinosaur one for Lucas!

Things that move
Stockings
Having made some Santa sacks a couple of years ago for Lucas and Madison, I decided that it was time for new ones. Especially with the twins celebrating their first christmas this year. I've had the fabric sitting aside for months, but haven't had the chance to do them yet. So this is what I came up with..

You may be wondering why there appears to be so many (when we've "only" got 4 kids)?!?! Well, I've had a chat to Santa, and he's agreed that we'll give him a sack for each of the kids, and the kids will have the other ones (in matching colours) on their beds on Christmas Eve. That way Santa will just be able to drop the already filled sacks off and pick up the empty sack, saving him heaps of time!
A start on christmas clothes
With christmas fast approaching, I thought I would try my hand at making a quick little dress for Madison out of some leftover chrissie fabric. This dress was so quick and easy to make, and it was my first time using elastic and a bias binder maker. I was thrilled with the fact that I could actually make something clothing related!

This of course got me looking at all the other christmas fabric I had accumulated. Shorts for the twins jumped out at me when I found this reindeer material. They are soooo cute on them. If only there was enough material to make Lucas a pair as well. Oh well, I just had to order some more material to make him a pair of shorts as well...it will hopefully be here this week!

Bird Play
I fell in love with this feature fabric from Clothworks titled "Bird Talk". My LQS had done a baby quilt using it, and it looked gorgeous. So I just had to do one myself! This play quilt is for a dear friend who was expecting their second daughter, and has since been born. Welcome to the world Alannah Kate.
