I thought this puppy dog panel was completely fitting for friends of ours who are having their first baby soon. I enjoyed doing, and loved the effect of quilting this panel in a criss-cross (diamond) pattern. Will be doing this more instead of the usual in-the-ditch quilting.

Dolly Quilt
More fishies
Double the joy
So it has been awhile since I was in here, with good reason though. Our beautiful twin boys were born early April, and have been keeping us on our toes since their arrival. The first few weeks were absolute bliss and joy....then the colic started. Whinging all day, crying for hours to pass a tiny bit of wind, and the screaming matches until 1 in the morning were a typical day. Then the days turned to weeks. So after about 5 weeks of it, I took them to the chiropractor. Be it the chiropractic services itself, good timing or luck, but they turned a corner. No more screaming, but still unsettled more often than not. But nowhere near as bad as it was. Yay!!! I can actually get all 4 kids (and hubby!) to bed before 10pm most nights. And not hear from them until some time after 4am usually, although wake-ups between 7 and 8am are more often than not normal. How lucky I am!!!
That's Darcy on the left, Archer on the right.
